Gratitude Journal

Gratitude is one of the most powerful and positive feelings that make us great. it is rightly considered as the highest form of evolution of a human’s intelligence. Most successful people both in terms of material success and Spiritual success) have termed gratitude as a very an important tool in gaining success in their lives. There are no words which can be used to emphasize on the importance of gratitude for internal happiness
Sometimes while in the rush of chasing more in our lives and we forget the importance of things we already have. We show gratitude for new things but tend to forget with the time that’s when the need for a journal arise it is a very simple habit of reflecting on what you’re grateful for in your life which can actually lead to a happier, more contented life. All it takes is a few moments and a gratitude journal to record your thoughts, it can be writing a “Gratitude Journal” or writing even a simple thank you note or just count your blessings
In this journey we are writing random thoughts, which also helps as a self-therapy, you write about the things you’re grateful for no matter how significant or insignificant
Everyone’s gratitude journal is written differently considering the fact that people are different from each other some people will simply write about their day while others might choose a specific gratitude quote to focus on.
Most important things in writing a journal are to pick a schedule that works for you and your lifestyle It's ok if you miss it, you don’t have to do it daily as it is not another thing to add in “to-do list” but consistency is the key, it should be done 3 times (at least ) in a week
It is seen that by writing a gratitude journal people are motivated to do more good and hence they end up doing more and more good to others which are also a mean of attaining contented life

If you’re new to gratitude journaling, Writing a gratitude journal can feel daunting for beginners. Here are a few points to get the gratitude flowing.
   Write about a time a place or a thing for which you are thankful 
   Try to remember something a loved one did for you.
   List a few silly things you did today.
   List people who are always there for you I time of need
   List people for which you can do anything
   Find ways to thank someone without saying “thank you”?
   Find something unique in yourself accept it and be grateful for it?
   Check your surroundings and find
   Think about the job that you do, the clothes you wear or the house you live in.
   Write a thank-you note to yourself daily just for being you
   Think about a random time, and write about why you’re grateful for that memory.
   Write about something you’re looking forward to.
   Write about something in your life that you have now that you didn’t have a year ago.
   Think back to the last time you laughed until you cried, and write about it.
   List a few things that made you smile this week.
   Think about someone who wronged you, but later proved to help shape the person you are today and write about what they mean to you.
   Think about a time you were able to help someone else.
   Think of fresh topics new ways of writing daily
   Think about  a time you made a mistake and were feeling guilty for that for so long but later it turned out to be in your favor and what you learned from that
   . What makes you grateful for about any experience (either good or bad )
   Even if you are at a loss writing find any angle in which you are grateful for that, here are good things attached to almost everything

After successfully journaling for a while, it can be challenging to think of new ideas to write about. If you wrote about some topics, think of a new angle for that topic. For example, if you’ve already written about why you’re grateful for your child, try viewing them from someone else’s perspective.

10.  Some days when you feel down read back through your gratitude journal to readjust your attitude and remember that you have great things in your life to look forward to …
